Two trees are found at the center of the Garden of Eden, explained in the Old Testament of the Bible. One tree symbolizes the Tree of Good and Evil, which Eve, the first woman, partook from which allowed all mankind to be born into the world. The second tree symbolizes the Tree of Life, which Adam, her husband, offered to Eve to enable her to return to God. Both Adam and Eve needed each other to progress.
