This work builds off of another piece called Helpmeet. I wanted to make sure that the role of Jesus Christ was included so I made two sets of hands. The set on the left shows Christ, as Savior, pulling up Eve who is clasping onto Adam’s hand. They are being pulled back into God’s presence. The set of hands on the right is again Christ at the top but this this time He is grasping Adam’s hand who in turn is clinging on to Eve. Both are being pulled up to be received into the Kingdom of God. Adam and Eve help one another but they both need the mercy provided only through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
