I intended this piece to be a mirror reflection so that both sets of hands are identical to the other but opposite. This piece celebrates both Eve and Adam’s role in offering and accepting the others fruit. Eve offers the fruit of the Tree of Good and Evil and Adam offers the fruit of the Tree of Life. Neither Adam nor Eve can return to God without the help of the other so they each become the perfect helpmeet for the another.
